Changing Perspective

I listened to the birds, the wind, and the hum of the highway.

I smelled the grass and the dew.

I felt the breeze and cool, moist air on my face.

I felt my feet firmly planted on the earth.

I watched the trees sway and the clouds sweep by in all their changing forms.

I felt my heart slow.

I felt calm and peaceful.

Today, I felt connected.

Today, I became aware.

Today, I changed my perspective.

Now, it’s your turn…
